Dearest Papa:
I feel so very, very, very alone tonight ... Dearest Barbara Rose:
Battle! The battle is on. How do you do battle best? ... You are My mouthpiece. This voice cannot be silenced. No matter what they do. As long as you are in My Will. ... You must be built up—made strong to do these things for Me, speak for Me. Trust, My little flower, My Rose ... THERE IS A SEASON UPON US WHICH WILL NOT BE TURNED BACK. The part you play determines many souls. Let go, and let Me guide the events of your life. ... DO NOT BE MISGUIDED. There is no release for one who is locked safely in My embrace—Mary, look to Mary and learn. All things for a reason. Peace.
You will be built up in a way you do not expect. Be ready. It is the Lord your God!
Bromar4 Reflection:
Be in My will…. You must be built up, made strong to do these things. Speak for Me. Trust. Let Me guide…
All of this speaks to me of dependence on God. When He has a will for us, a plan; we need a greater dependence on Him because it is He who wants to accomplish it in us and through us as St Paul says. It is His will, His plan, His guidance and His actions in us and through us.
He then says the part we play determines many souls. I would emphasize the word part. Our role is a part, the whole is God’s. The outcome is out of our hands, all we do is our part, the part given to us by Him. It is God who makes our obedience fruitful, it is never the actions themselves.
Do not be misguided. There will be those, with good and bad intentions, who will try to guide our actions, persuade us into their way of thinking. Regardless, it is for us to follow Him, to trust Him, to give greater weight to His counsel than to all the rest combined. He knows things that we can’t know, so trust in Him is greater wisdom than perfect knowledge. So when we experience Him guiding and leading in a way that does not make sense to us, it is wisdom to follow His counsel rather that say my knowledge is a better path to follow.
In our Consecration to Him we are locked safely in His embrace and there is no release. How comforting is that. And Mary can teach us how to live and thrive in the safety of His embrace. He then intimates that suffering is a part of us being built up. Telling us all things for a reason and that it will be in a way we do not expect. But to be ready because it is the Lord and therefore we can be at peace.
