Believe in the Truth that is Being Revealed to You

Excerpt from The Father Speaks…

What most grieved Me about My people, Israel, and what most afflicts Me still about present-day humanity, is this ill-conceived respect you have of Me. Man's enemy has, in fact, used it to lead him to fall into idolatry and schisms. He is still using it and will continue to use it against you to keep you distant from the truth, from My Church and from Me. Oh, do not allow yourselves to be led any longer by the enemy; believe in the truth that is being revealed to you and walk in the light of this truth.

You, My children, who are outside the Catholic Church, should realize that you are not excluded from My fatherly love. I am making this tender appeal to you because you too are My children. If you have lived up to now in the devil's snares, acknowledge that he has cheated you. Come to Me, your Father, and I will receive you with joy and love!

And you, who only know the religion in which you have grown up, and that religion is not the true one, open your eyes. Here is your Father, He Who created you and Who wants to save you. I come to you to bring you the truth and salvation. I can see that you do not know Me and do not realize that all I want is for you to know Me as your Father, Creator and Saviour. It is because of this ignorance that you cannot love Me. Understand, therefore, that I am not as far from you as you think.

​How could I leave you alone after having created you and adopted you through My love? I follow you everywhere, I protect you always, so that everything may become a confirmation of My great liberality towards you, in spite of your forgetfulness about My infinite goodness. This forgetfulness makes you say: "Nature provides us with everything, it makes us live and die." This is the time of grace and light. Recognize, then, that I am the only true God!

Father says that fear based respect leads to idolatry and schisms.   How does fear lead to idolatry?  Fear of God leads to distrust, distrust of God leads to trusting someone or something more than God.  Because we will trust something or someone, we cannot survive not trusting in anything, even if it only trusting in ourselves.  Whatever I trust more than God I will obey in the manner in which I ought to only obey God.  Is that not a type of idolatry?

How does that fear lead to schisms?  Schism is at its heart a separation of heart and mind from the truth as God has revealed it. Fear leads to severity by seeing in God only the judge, as Jesus says, fear has to do with punishment.  So fear is an expectation of punishment which is natural if one’s focus in how we see God is a judge. But He is so much more. Why do we think Jesus told us to call Him Father?  A Father is a protector, not an abuser.  A Father is a provider, one who gives generously without seeking recompense of any kind,  not notoriety, not monetarily, not affection...   A Father is both tender and firm, which breeds confidence and gives stability of heart.  It fosters a sense of freedom and a loving sense of responsibility. He gives generously which leaves the child with the experience of being given to without having anything taken away.  All these things help a child to believe there is also mercy, that God is benevolent, and not a tyrannical dictator.  Fear of punishment also leads to dependency on law instead of relationship, like the pharisees, whom Jesus reproached severely as a brood of vipers and whitewashed graves, caring more for ritual cleansing of cups and paying tithes on herbs than actual repentance and giving alms to the poor.  The appearance of being good without actually being good in heart and mind.  They were the teachers of the law, but Jesus said they converted proselytes only to make them more wicked than themselves.  They led people away from God because they represented God in a faulty way and that is the natural consequence.  To lead people to God one only needs to be godly in his own person. And actions follow beliefs.  To believe in God as He has revealed Himself is in itself to follow a path to holiness. It also helps us to not fall into idolatry or become a schismatic. True charity leads to obedience.  That is why Jesus said, if you love me you will keep my commandments.  Jesus also says , I am the vine and you are the branches.  We need to stay connected to the vine since that is how the branches receive the nourishment to grow.

​Jesus says that love is the greatest commandment, to love God and then to love neighbor. And then He says that love is not yet perfect in one who is afraid. St Paul says that perfect love casts out all fear.

May we ask for the grace that our whole person allow Him to love us as He intends. The by experiencing this love, our fears may melt away being overwhelmed by how much we are loved, that our hearts of stone to to flesh.  May we then understand the true dignity of our inheritance as a child of the Father and receive the courage to live in His Kingdom, now and for eternity
