February is a month that we in the US anyway have long associated with St. Valentine's Day. He was a Bishop and Martyr. He assisted the early Christians who were persecuted and also performed the Sacrament of matrimony for Christian couples, which at the time was illegal under the emperor Claudius. This might be why he became associated with the idea of the love of couples. Anyway, we thought it a good time to associate it with Our Father's love poured out from His Divine Paternal Heart which is far greater than the love we can have for one another and is the source of all authentic love.
